Who we are:
In 2014 best friends Kacey Cargile and Alyson Johnson sought to combine their favorite aspects of their Texas and California heritages, respectively, to cultivate a casual, welcoming, and fun environment for you to spend your shopping experience in. Carefully curated and sourced from L.A., each item you find at Esther Penn will be unique and hand picked with you in mind. The entire process should feel like shopping in a girlfriend's closet, making you comfortable but inspired, and leave you ready to come back the next week just to see what’s new. So, see you next week?
Who We Need:
Fort Worth Store Manager, Dallas Assistant Store Manager
Previous retail management experience (preferred)
Strong background in training/development and customer service
Healthy obsession with social media (it’s a thing)
Creative thinking and problem solving skills
Passion for people and connections
Awareness of current trends and culture
Enjoy a close-knit, small business environment
What You’ll Do:
Create and maintain the Esther Penn vibe: Laid back like Cali, and friendly like Texas. Customers should feel genuinely welcomed, but never overwhelmed. More a friend than a customer, each person coming through the doors should feel that they are returning to a familiar space, ours just happens to be filled with fabulous clothes.
Keep the shop in tip-top shape: We like a girl that can get her hands dirty. We have found that the most impressive things are in the details, and we need someone who is aware of them all.
Create a visual aesthetic that is on brand and increases productivity: You will work closely with our merchandise team to stay within certain guidelines, but fresh ideas and new perspectives are a must.
Hire, staff, and schedule your team: Find people that you can relate to, count on, and have some fun with. We need a team that works hard and loves playing dress up as much as we do.
Maintain operational tasks: Ordering packaging, planning events at the shop, inventory management, and receiving and organizing shipments.
Meet and exceed sales goals: Get new customers in the door, follow up with old customers, plan events in the store, find groups to reach out to, contribute to social media management, and generate new ideas for driving business.
Starting salary is $40,000- $45,000/year, depending on experience
Bonus opportunity based on achievement of company and individual performance goals
$300/month towards health insurance
14 days paid time off
